Continue counting up by 3 reps each time….

A quick word on cheating; Just Don’t. The coaches are counting your reps, not everytime; but lots of times. Members count your reps too.  I’m tired of watching the same people cheating reps and hearing about the same people cheating reps (at Beaumont and Mid-County).  Don’t risk losing your integrity over a silly workout. Just do the work.

    Wow people are getting called out!! I think it would be more apropriate to just call em out when ya see em!! I have no problem owning it if I ‘miss ‘count. Call me out anytime!

    Cheating is just pointless…said the Scale Queen. THERE IS NO SHAME IN SCALING!!!
    Oh, and today I got 4 rounds and 15 thrusters (35#). Did regular pull-ups with green/purple)
    I cleaned 85#…failed 90# TWICE. but Kara says to go until we fail. That way we’re sure we’ve done all we can do. I wasn’t here the last time we maxed cleans but in Feb, I did 65#. I’ll take that kind of progress!

    Two things….. I’m with Clay call it when you see it. I wouldnt do it deliberately but Im sure at a heartrate of 190 I miss count reps at times. Secondly, is the Tiger pic a playboy cheater thing or a sports cheater thing. I will go on record saying I dont think he has ever cheated at golf.

    Yeah I agree with Clay and Jason its the deliberate overcounting in question not the accidents. Hell Tiger doesn’t have to cheat in golf to win, he has nothing else to prove. Off the course he was able to avoid the camera, hell the dude is an athlete I bet he would be a good crossfitter

    Likes clay and Jasons post. I may forget my times between finishing the WOD and resting enough to be able to use my arms and brain again lol
    Doing it deliberately only hurts yourself, and jacks with the leaderboard. I miss you guys at CFB btw.

    Tiger is the picture because he cheated on his wife. Didn’t think that one needed an explanation.

    Also, No one is going to count perfect every time, that is not what we’re talking about here. What we’re talking about is people who cut reps deliberately. If that’s not you then no need to defend yourself.

    When we notice someone misses the target number of reps we remember it and we count their next set. If it never happens again it was a mistake. If we count that persons reps again and they fall short AGAIN, we become even more observant and continue to watch them from day to day…. Then it becomes obvious that the person is doing it deliberately.

    Guys and gals go to http://www.lasportsfest.com/ and sign up for the CrossFit Competition now! It’s Saturday May 21 in Lake charles and the entry fee is only $25. Top male and female win $500. There are currently 10 men and 2 women signed up. What do you have to lose? Even if you have to scale the WODs it will be a fun day and really cool to push yourself in a competition setting. I think EVERY member should do it

    i think the Tiger Woods image was a good choice. Tiger was/is almost without peer on the golf course but his personal life was a mess. Integrity matters both in the field of athletics AND in life. We arent calling any one person out on this… but it should mean something when you post a great time or use the coveted “RX” on the white board or here. As Neal said, this isnt about a random miscount when you heart is pounding, this is about skipping reps to get a better time/score.
