 WOD 9/7/11

Clean – Find your 1 rep max

 

AMRAP in 15 minutes:

10 Wall Ball (20/14)

10 Box Jumps (30/24)

20 Overhead Squats (45/33)

 

Cash Out: 3 Rounds of hanging from the pull-up bar for time. After the last person drops from the bar everyone rests one minute before starting the next round.

    Cleaned 95# today for a 5# PR!!!
    Got 5 rounds +7 wb in the wod using a 10# ball, 16″ box, and a 15# bar. Balance was an issue with the 33# soI figured I needed to do more reps and work on form rather than weight.
    Between OHS and “hanging around” for the cashout, I need a nap…or a massage!

    (And Amber only cleaned 100# just to beat the old lady!)

    With 95# I got a 5# PR on the clean! Maybe, just MAYBE, I’m getting the hang of it!

    5 rds + 7 wb on the wod using a 10# ball, 16″ box, and a 15# bar. We decided I needed more reps to practice my ohs form than I’d get with the 33# bar.

    And Amber only did 100# to beat the old lady! 😉

    clean 210# 5 # PR from July, WOD 5 RDs +10WB+10Box Jumps+1 OHS, 30″ Box, 20# WB, OHS were with PVC pipe due to shoulder…..

    Just 85#s on Cleans, just wasnt feeling it! Urrggg!! 5rds +wallballs and 1 boxjump. 14# wb and 16″ box. Did not “hang” around though..

    1- how come we get dominated by CFMC in comments everyday. they are up to 33 today

    2- how come they have muffins

    3- how come they bring beer for wods

    4- lets get it together before the competition guys

    I am with you JJ, I post everyday I go to the box and check it again in the evening so I can see if I let myself off to easy didn’t push hard enough whatever, I know more than 12 people went to the box today

    I think positive reinforcement should be used in this situation JJ. For example, if XX number of people post each month, no burpees the following month. Just a suggestion. 🙂

    If we get more than 20 comments everyday next week we won’t do 100 burpees during the warm-up on September 19.

    5 rds plus 10 and 10 with JJ. 205# clean…. Not a PR. My diet is locked back in and my met cons are looking a lot better because of it. I am very convinced performance is tied to food. I’m with JJ we need to game plan our post WOD celebration for the competition.

    Did yesterday’s WOD at noon. 20:17 RX……. FML!
    Came back at 6 to do today’s WOD before coaching. 5 Rds RX
    240# Clean…got under 245# but couldn’t stand up with it. Did I mention my FS max is 235#? hahaha….I was fighting a losing battle

    J2 – Nothing is special about that date, but thats the day I’ve picked to do 100 burpees if we don’t get at least 20 comments everyday next week

    Cfmc does beat us on quantity of comments most days,(I helped them today, sorry) but I think our quality of comments is much better. 9 of 22 comments were results from the wod today at cfb compared to 7 of 33 for cfmc. CFB’s comment power output is much greater.

    By the way, kick ass job Sean…big numbers on both wods
