WOD 5/16/11

3 Rounds for time – GO HEAVY!
3 Power Cleans
3 Front Squats
3 Deadlifts
50 double unders

Same weight for all three barbell movements. 5 burpee penalty if the hands come off the bar before moving to double unders.

    I think the lifts were just to give you time to catch your breath from the jumping!
    7:10 with 55# and 150 singles.

    4:21, with 145#, completed without putting the bar down, but only did 7 Double Unders a round, so my time really doesn’t mean anything, but I gotta keep working on the DU’s maybe one day it will just click.

    4:47, with 135# and double unders… might a’ could have gone bigger with the weight and i was battling an imminent wardrobe malfunction with the DUs due to a lack of a drawstring on my shorts!

    I am sooooo frustrated and in pain. Some patella swelling in my left knee is keeping me from doing even one round of this WOD. That sucks. Good work JJ and Neal. I know you’re the “Coach” around here but, I am still in awe of how much weight you throw around at your weight. Very impressive. Thank you for pushing ALL of us to be better.
