My name is Heather Latino, I’m a 41 year old stay at home mom of three beautiful girls, ages 16, 8 and 6. Im image1also a 41 year old mom that let herself go and crossfit helped me find my way back. I had tried other things but they just didn’t get me to where I wanted/needed to be. I walked for miles everyday, did insanity workouts and other beach body workouts from home that just didn’t get me there. When I finally got the courage to walk into Lumberton Crossfit (about 18 months ago) things just fell into place. I found out that when you workout on your own you tend to slack and not push yourself as hard. Working out with other people makes you more accountable to yourself and others. I’ve also found out that your body can do amazing things, I’ve accomplished movements I never thought of doing.

Now that I have my nutrition on track (big key) I’ve lost a total of 35 pounds, a ton of inches and went down 5 pants sizes since starting crossfit. I’m very pleased with my results so far and will continue to work hard to achieve my goals. I’m learning and doing new stuff all the time and I love it, that’s one of the great things about crossfit. image2It has given me more confidence, made me stronger, I have more energy and my clothes fit way better. I love
crossfit! I love my crossfit people!! I can now say crossfit is one of my happy places!! Can’t wait to see where else it brings me in my fitness life. <3
